This request generates a swipe processor token. These tokens are required with each request to create a swipe, and attempting to create a swipe without a swipe processor token will result in an error. Here are some details regarding swipe processor tokens:
- Once you generate a token, it exists within your account without expiring. Tokens can be manually revoked, however.
- Your account can have up two concurrent tokens at any time. We recommend using this to your advantage when rotating tokens.
- If you attempt create a new token while two are already active, you will receive an error.
